The principal guidelines of data handling carried out by the provider are the data and secrecy regulations of the below mentioned provisions of law: - The VI law of 1998 about the announcement of the agreement of 28 January, 1981, Strasbourg about the protection of persons throughout the electronic processing of personal data. - The LXIII law of 1992 about the protection of personal data and the publicity of data of general interest. - Data handling rules included in chapter VIII of XL law of 2001 about news broadcasting. - Government regulation (XII 18) 249/2001 about the contracts of telecommunication subscribers. - (XII 18) 253/2001 goverment regulation about the specific conditions data handling by the news broadcasting provider, about data security of news broadcasting services and also about the regulations of the display of identifier and of call transfer. Secrecy obligations of the provider: Provider must handle personal data confidentially, does not make it accessible for other persons without the preliminary consent of the person in question and cannot make it public, either. The secrecy obligation applies to the employees, members and representatives of the provider, for breaching the provisions of law responsibility falls on them in an identical manner.
